About Me

I’m Jennifer – And I want your vote on November 4th!

It’s important to create an atmosphere in school where kids can learn. The school board facilitates this by making sure teachers and schools have what they need to do their job. It oversees implementation of state curricula, facilities maintenance and advocates for training opportunities for teachers and staff.

Additionally, school board directors are a direct liaison with community and state leaders and are advocates for the parents, students and employees of the district.
If elected, I will work to make our school district even better than it is now.

About Me

I’ve lived in the North Fork Valley for 21 years, and for most of that time, I’ve worked with kids — teaching karate, helping them set goals, and reminding them that hard work really does pay off.

Before opening my retail store, I spent years in scientific research. I have a master’s degree in biology and an MBA in business, so I bring both data and common sense to the table. I love details, I love planning, and I don’t wait around for someone else to start the work.

I believe every child has the right to be themselves — free from bullying, stereotyping, and judgment — and with adults who love them and treat them with respect.

Over the last four years, our board has made real progress. The improvements take time to see, but they’re happening, and they’re good.

Now I’m asking for four more years to keep that momentum going — and to bring our schools to their best yet.
